THE ROLLING STONES IN VIENNA, AUSTRIA, September 1st 1973

All photos were taken at 15,00 o´clock, Saturday 1 sept. 1973.
The stones came in a brief rehearsal at the Stadthalle, but I only heard a very loud discharge of drums and bass; no other instrument was played.
I am the only person back of the Vienna Stadthalle, no fans, no reporter, no press, (ha..ha.. ha... they were are all waiting in front of the Stadthalle) when The Stones came aboard 5 green emerald new BMW.

Quickly I put out my little chip camera and shoot this photos.
I was very nervous, but also the Stones (specially Mick and Watts) have been very nervous, and they went fast to the door. I didn't have time to adjust the controls in the camera, (film was 400ASA).

In the night the show was delayed, not started al 19.30, the people in the arena very tired to wait, start to shout and to toot; Preston started at (maybe) 21.00 o´clock or after….The stadium was not full, maybe ¾ ( 7.000 fans ? ), it seemed a very personal concert!!
